Meet the Founder
Hi! I'm Michele Dye, and I'm obsessed with helping women become valuable marketers who earn top dollar.
I have a confession to make.
It took me 10 YEARS into my career to find a mentor who was a marketing expert.
And it only happened because we collaborated cross-functionally at work.
I think about how different my career could've been if I had the right person guiding me.
Someone to learn strategy from.
Someone to brainstorm with or even just listen when I had to vent about something.
Perhaps I wouldn't have stayed stuck in positions for too long...
...Or have settled for less than I deserved.
Years later when I started my own marketing consulting business and an online coaching business, I realized how much about marketing I still didn't know.
Once again, I was on my own...
It was lonely.
Frustrating.
Overwhelming.
And some days I felt like I should just give up.
But I finally started meeting the right mentors and experts.
This time around, it came with a price tag.
I've invested tens of thousands of dollars to learn and be mentored by some of the smartest marketers on the planet.
While I'm grateful for those experiences, I noticed a few things along the way that bothered me.
A lot of the online learning experiences came with on-demand content and little to no opportunities to ask questions and get feedback on your work.
And if you could find communities where you could get that level of personalized support, you had to be prepared to shell out hundreds of dollars each month... not always realistic when you're just getting started.
My goal for The Marketers' Lounge is to give you what I wish I had--an affordable option to network, learn and grow as a marketer and business owner.
